Purpose<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These terms and conditions govern the use of SnapWeb, a platform that connects private individuals with renovation projects and professionals. SnapWeb is operated under the trading name \u00abSnapWeb\u00bb, Rue du Tr\u00f4ne 120A, 1050 Brussels, Belgium. Contact: <a href=\"mailto:info@snapweb.be\">info@snapweb.be<\/a>. The full legal name and BCE\/VAT number will be added as soon as they are provided.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. The role of SnapWeb<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SnapWeb facilitates the submission of enquiries and the establishment of contact. Unless expressly stated otherwise, SnapWeb is neither a contractor, nor a project manager, nor a party to the works contract entered into between the private individual and the tradesperson. Each user is responsible for verifying the identity, qualifications, insurance, licences, prices and terms and conditions of their contracting party.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Publication of an application<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Posting is free and can be done without an account, provided you supply accurate contact details and verify your email address.<\/li><li>The application must describe a genuine, lawful and sufficiently specific project, without including any contact details in the public fields.<\/li><li>SnapWeb may verify, correct, reject, suspend or delete any request that is fraudulent, duplicated, incomplete or in breach of these terms and conditions.<\/li><li>A request remains active for 15 days. The individual may close it earlier if they have found a tradesperson, cancelled their project or no longer wish to be contacted.<\/li><li>Locking the system prevents any further unlocking, but does not revoke access already granted to a professional.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Business accounts<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professional registration is free of charge. Professionals must guarantee the accuracy of their identity, company registration number, trades, areas of operation, insurance cover and qualifications. They must use the contact details provided solely to respond to the relevant project and must comply with the rules on canvassing, confidentiality and data protection.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Credits and the release of leads<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A new business account receives 100 promotional credits, which cannot be exchanged for cash.<\/li><li>Indicative packages: 30 credits for \u20ac29, 90 credits for \u20ac79 and 190 credits for \u20ac149, subject to the prices displayed at the time of ordering.<\/li><li>Indicative cost per lead: small project 30 credits, medium project 70 credits, large project 150 credits. The exact cost is displayed before confirmation.<\/li><li>Full contact details are only disclosed once the credits have been debited.<\/li><li>Each project can be unlocked by up to three professionals.<\/li><li>The same tradesperson cannot be charged twice for the same job.<\/li><li>Purchased credits do not expire unless clearly stated at the time of purchase. Promotional credits may be subject to a specific time limit or conditions as announced when they are awarded.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Payment<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Payments are processed by the service provider indicated at the time of ordering, in particular Stripe, by card or Bancontact where available. Prices, taxes and key product features are displayed before any order is placed that requires payment. Any statutory rights that may apply to a user classified as a consumer remain reserved.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Repayment of loans<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A request for a refund in credits may be submitted within 15 days of the project\u2019s closure or recorded completion in the event of an incorrect number, manifestly incorrect contact details, a duplicate entry, a non-existent request, or a customer who remains unreachable despite reasonable attempts to contact them. SnapWeb will review the information provided and may reject any request that is insufficiently substantiated or deemed to be abusive. Refunds are normally issued in the form of credits, in accordance with the refund policy published on the website.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Absence of a trade warranty on the building site<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Purchasing a lead gives you access to contact details, but does not guarantee that you will secure the job, an appointment, a reply or any turnover. The final decision rests with the individual.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Prohibited behaviour<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following are prohibited in particular: fake accounts or projects, mass data collection, the resale of contact details, harassment, circumvention of the credit system, misleading content, infringement of third-party rights and unauthorised automated use.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10. Suspension and liability<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SnapWeb may suspend an account or content in the event of risk, fraud or a breach. To the extent permitted by law, SnapWeb accepts no liability for the quality, price, performance or damages relating to work agreed directly between users. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">11. Personal data<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Data processing is described in the <a href=\"\/en\/privacy-policy\/\">Privacy Policy<\/a>. The individual consents to their contact details being passed on to the professionals who will process their request, within the stated limits.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">12. Applicable law and disputes<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law, without depriving a consumer of the mandatory protections available in their country of residence where these apply. The parties shall first seek an amicable solution via <a href=\"mailto:info@snapweb.be\">info@snapweb.be<\/a>. The competent courts are determined by the applicable legal provisions.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">13. Amendments<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Version dated 5 August 2026. SnapWeb may amend these terms and conditions in future. Users will be notified of any significant changes by appropriate means.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
